Delicious! The French Onion Soup, Fish-n-Chips, and Beef on Weck are all definitely worth ordering. All so good! The service was friendly and excellent. The only letdown was the French Fries; they were cooked with too much oil and soggy and brown.
My wife and I embarked on a road trip and visited the highly recommended Shamus restaurant. Our experience was exceptional. The portions were generous, and each dish was meticulously prepared to perfection. We were thoroughly impressed and strongly suggest making this restaurant a priority if you find yourself in Lockport. We dined on the patio, which offered a serene and comfortable atmosphere with ample shade. Additionally, the service was outstanding.
This is the Romantic place to go. great atmosphere, great style, great food, this is the best. Food was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Love the service and the attention. I would dine here every night if I could.
5 Stars - A Lockport Gem! Had an incredible lunch at Shamus Restaurant today—absolutely five stars across the board. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfect for a casual business lunch or a relaxed afternoon with friends. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and the food? Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every detail—from the presentation to the quality of ingredients—showed care and consistency. Easily one of the best dining experiences in Lockport. We had a fantastic dining experience at Shamus! The drinks were a standout — the mojito was perfectly balanced and refreshing, and the elderflower rose spritzer was light, floral, and absolutely delightful. For food, we enjoyed a juicy, flavorful burger and a garden salad topped with steak that was cooked just right. Every bite was delicious, and the presentation matched the quality. The atmosphere was cozy yet refined, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. Highly recommend Shamus for a night out with great cocktails and consistently excellent food. We’ll definitely be back!

Very welcoming and friendly. Our server was very sweet, informative, and helpful. Their French Onion Soup is amazing! Ordered one of their specials - a Turkey Cranberry....sooo good. And there's always room for a "little piece" of cake 😉! Will definitely be back!
Owning a successful restaurant always requires great employees and an owner that manages everything personally. My dad and I go here occasionally, probably less than we should. We aren’t super regular, but we come time to time. Anne, the owner, treats us like friends and recognizes us every time we come in. That and the ambiance and overall pleasant feel of the place is unmatched. The food is absolutely on another level as well. We have had French onion soups all over wny, from dozens of places, and this is the best. I could keep going
Fantastic dinner tonight at Shaums. Greeted with a smile, seated right and our waitress Robin told us about the daily specials and the soups of the day. I had the twin tenderloin steaks and my coworker had the Bistro steak and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals.
Best food around! You can taste the passion in every bite! Loved The ambience, the owner & staff were so kind and food is always on point it’s amazing I ordered the Dubin lawyer and it’s absolutely delicious!! I can’t wait til my next visit worth the wait always!! And quality of food is outstanding for the price!!!
